The archives central purpose is to identify, protect, and make available public records pertaining to the city of Newark.

As part of Newark's upcoming 350th anniversary celebration, a brochure was created to build awareness and educate the local community about the Archive's vast resources.

Layered imagery and typography represent the act of archiving while creating a visual narrative pertaining to Newark's rich history. The closely cropped photos evoke "discovery" by revealing only a portion of each image. A celebratory tone is portrayed through playful typography and bright colors.
