Creating a new category of T-Shirts

HEMD is an online retail store with a focus on well designed soccer tees. Born out of a passion for soccer and the lack of well designed soccer T-shirts in the market, I partnered with my brother-in-law to create our own.  A clean minimalist identity articulates qualities associated with both soccer and the T-shirts –precision, detail, focus. The understated aesthetic allows the T-shirts to be at the forefront.

T-Shirt Concept | The Deutschland 11 — The eleven characters in "Deutschland" represent each of the eleven starting players. The characters are positioned in the famed 4-2-3-1 German field formation. Balance is completed through the first and last D representing the striker and goalkeeper.

T-Shirt Concept | El Tricolor — Mexican soccer fans are passionate about their national team and the colors they wear. They affectionately refer to their team as El Tricolor. The M in Mexico represents the number 3 (or Tri) and when placed over the heart symbolizes the enduring love for El Tricolor.

T-Shirt Concept | Os Cinco — No other soccer team in history can boast five World Cup titles. This shirt is all about bragging rights and a tribute to Brasil.
